Cooper’s Hall Wedding - Ally & Roman

When Ally and Roman first reached out to me I knew it was a great fit - and we even had a sign from the universe confirm that! Less than 2 weeks after their initial consult, we ran into each other outside the Hollywood Theater of all places. We had both just seen a showing of Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind on 35mm, both were trying to take a picture of the marque, and unknowingly almost walked right into each other. It was one of those moments that felt way too coincidental!

Photographing these two’s wedding was a dream - they had so many special nods to their life in Portland for their loved ones who mostly traveled in! From Portland postcards at every seat, to photos underneath the iconic “Portland” sign at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall downtown, their love for PDX was present in a big way.

Weddings at Cooper’s Hall

Cooper’s Hall is a gorgeous venue and was perfect for this hot July day! I love that it’s located in central SE, and has plenty of indoor space to shelter you from the hot PNW sun (or rain in the winter!). The venue staff were wonderful and the space is gorgeous. I would LOVE to photograph another wedding here!

Ally and Roman’s wedding was photographed on a mix of digital and film!
